Relationships between executive and motor functions and academic performance in children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)

Children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder often exhibit motor difficulties in addition to inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity, which are linked to deficits in executive functions. Handwriting, as an aspect of motor skills, is also frequently impaired. These challenges negatively affect academic performance and can have adverse consequences for social participation and mental health. The project investigates the relationship between executive and motor functions and academic performance more fine-grained.

Prospective randomized controlled validation of a computed tomography-centered diagnostic algorithm for coronary artery assessment in patients prior to transcatheter aortic valve implantation

Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) has become the standard procedure for patients aged 75 and older with aortic valve stenosis (AS). The gold standard for ruling out coronary artery disease (CAD) before TAVI is invasive coronary angiography. However, the exclusion of relevant CAD is often already achieved during the pre-TAVI evaluation using CT (CT).
