Microrobotic Immunophenotyping for Standardized and Accessible Cell Diagnostics
Immunophenotyping is an important method for diagnosing and monitoring diseases of the blood and the immune system. However, flow cytometry—the method predominantly used today—requires costly equipment, complex workflows, and specially trained personnel. This hinders standardized application and limits access to modern cell diagnostics, particularly outside of specialized medical centers.
CELLnROLL is developing an automated system for the rapid and standardized analysis of cell populations. It is designed to deliver reproducible results, reduce manual effort, and minimize reliance on highly specialized personnel.
The system is designed to provide basic immunophenotyping data on key cell populations through a standardized and largely automated process. It is engineered to deliver reproducible results even with small sample volumes while simultaneously reducing manual effort and reliance on highly specialized personnel.
