The aim of this project is to contribute to improve mother-child health in two health zones. In detail, we aim to increase the access to preventative measures and treatment of malnutrition and malaria as well as adequate obstetric services for approximately 3.300 children under the age of 5 and 4.550 pregnant/breastfeeding women.

This also includes improved obstetric services through free or cost-reduced treatment. The measurement encompass equipping two clinics with medicines, therapeutic food and other necessary items, but also the installation of a water tank and a solar system. Furthermore, the training of the medical staff also assures the long-term quality of the provided health care services treatment. In addition, there will be awareness-raising events for up to 83,000 people on the topics of prevention and treatment of malaria, malnutrition and healthy motherhood.
